Description: Card of 42 antique and vintage clothing buttons -- all are glass in various colors and styles. Most of these are small sized, but there may be a couple of mediums, as well. This is a mix of glass buttons, and glass-mounted-in-metal buttons. These are a mix of eras -- most are from the antique era of the 1800s or early 1900s, but there are likely also a few from later eras. Some of the styles on this card, include: 2-piece, DUG, reflector, swirlback, paperweight, pearlized, realistic, goldstone, and more. This is an interesting assortment with lots of variety. Please refer to the ruler pictured in the image for the exact sizes of the buttons. Overall condition: Solid VG+..... A few of the buttons may have light surface/paint wear and/or small edge dings -- but I have noticed no cracks, breaks, or other more serious flaws. The group is overall in very nice shape and they will display well. My mom -- Nancy Moran -- was a longtime member of the National Button Society, plus was active in several local button clubs in New York. She downsized her collection before passing away in 2020, so I have been helping her sell some of her treasures. But I am not familiar with all the terminology and intricacies of button collecting. I try to use various notes she left with the buttons to describe them to the best of my ability, but understand that any terms I use in describing these items, are not terms I am familiar or experienced with. I am also not knowledgeable on the hobby criteria in condition grading -- so I use my condition grades in a commonsense manner -- as if grading any collectible -- they are not based on any hobby standards.
