Published by Poseidon Press, 1988. Boldly SIGNED/INSCRIBED by the celebrated author/artist/filmmaker/icon! A TRUE First American Edition/First Printing/First State with ALL First Edition Points present! Please remember this is the First AMERICAN Edition. This rare treasure has some VERY clearly visible wear, but is still in Highly Collectible condition! The wear, however, is extensive and should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. The book appears gently read and other than some writing/marks on the first few pages, has no internal writing, no foxing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE. The binding is holding tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean! Some general/shelf wear along with a noticeable lean, creases/indentations/wear to the spine/corners/cloth boards, particularly noticeable at the corners and along the edges, creases/wear to the pages and wear to the edge/fore pages, NOT affecting the text! As previously mentioned, there is some internal writing/marks. There is a mark on the ffep/first blank page and some large marks and numbers written on the following page. The writing/numbers appear to be written in pen while the marks appear to have been made with a marker or sharpie. The marks made by the marker or sharpie clearly bled through the page and are also very clearly visible on the following page. The marks/internal writing is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. Please also note the numerous creases/wear that is present on the pages! Varying in size and severity, all of the pages have, to some degree, very clearly visible wear. In particular, the creases are quite large! The unfortunate wear is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. The original, First State dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped! Some general/shelf wear along with creases, chipping, rips and marks. Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners, on both the front and rear inside jacket flaps and near/along the edges! The wear, particularly near/along the edges, is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book. Our VERY LOW asking price is a reflection of that consideration and if this copy was in better condition our asking price would be considerably higher. Once again, the wear to both the book and the dust jacket is VERY clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying.
