Description: C1920, ANTIQUE CHINESE No. 23 SILVER GILT DRAGON AND PHOENIX FRINGE NECKLACE Description:An exquisite antique Chinese solid silver gilt fringe necklace, dating to the early 20th Century, circa 1920.This superb piece of jewellery, of bright silver gilt, is formed of two rows of conjoined oval links, with a row of diamond links forming the fringe. The three rows lead to a large clasp at the front, one side cast with a dragon, the other with a phoenix or ho-ho bird, each side of the clasp with the addition of a hanging dragon and phoeinix medallion.The reverse side of the clasp is stamped 'No 23', 'CHINA' and a two character stamp in Chinese.
