Description: From the Paleo Period, a thin Uni-face Knife found in Christian County, Kentucky by James Robinson. Made from light tan Hornstone with good patina. The curve of this piece is classic for uni-face knives; the blank was removed, probably along with several others, from a chert core that had been worked down to about a 3 in. flat-topped sphere. The dorsal face is nicely knapped, and 1 row of pressure flakes have been removed from the ventral face edges. A neat piece. Undoubtedly authentic. The Paleo Period is thought to have lasted from about 15,000 to 10,000 years ago.2.57 in. long, 0.92 in. wide, 0.21 in. thick Satisfaction guaranteed, 30 day no-questions-asked returns (buyer pays return shipping).
