Description: Offered here is a STUNNING, delicious “crème de la crème” bra that is of midcentury modern design. It is old store stock or “deadstock” UNWORN, French labeled, peach satin bullet bra. It is luxurious, luminous shiny and very supportive. The circle stitching on the cups used to be referred to as “contour” cups as they shape breasts into a “conical shape—as seen in the photo of Patti Page in 1955 that I included in the photos — and popularized by Madonna! I have a size 36 also listed if you need it larger!!! This bra has adjustable straps with dainty metal adjusters that match the fabric. It is exquisite in every detail with no damage— and labels crisp as it is old Grench store stock. It is a French made brassiere—marked “marque depose” (registered trademark) and TOLOSA on the satin tag (Toulouse (/tuːˈluːz/ too-LOOZ; French: [tuluz]; Occitan: Tolosa [tuˈluzɔ]) is the prefecture of the French department of Haute-Garonne and of the larger region of Occitania.) Wonderfully constructed Pinup retro style from the 1940s-1950s—sexy and lovely! Reminds me of the VARGUS pinup girls or “sweater girl” as this look was referred to. The conical shape bra, sometimes called a bullet bra, raises and separates the breasts. In its original form, the look was often tied to the promotion of new bra technology. This bra is marked 90 French sizing which is 34 B. The stitching and shaping of this bra makes the bust look larger and “perkier” due to the conical shape — prior to todays more natural shaping T-shirt bras—and called “sweater girl” look or “Pin-Up” as seen on the World War 2 airplane art, Betty Grable look, and early Playboy magazines. This bra is in perfect shape and is stunning!! The girdle matches and they are beautiful together and listed separately. The bed jacket shown in photo 6 also matches the bra and is listed separately.
