A cross based on that of the Order of the Bath, thereon a circlet inscribed " Rifle Brigade " enclosing a bugle surmounted by a St. Edwards crown. The cross enclosed in a laurel - wreath the upper ends of which connected by a tablet inscribed " Waterloo " and surmounted by a Guelphic crown. Battle honours on each arm of the cross. Below the cross a Naval crown with above it the words " Copenhagen 2 April 1801. ". All in white - metal. Size : 52mm. x 39mm.
