Bob Proctor Mentor Dr. C. Harry Roder Look & Listen the Body Speaks 1st Edition

Description: This very difficult to find first edition booklet, Look and Listen the Body Speaks, which doesn’t come up for sale all that often on eBay, was written by one of Bob Proctor’s mentors, Dr. C. Harry Roder (some of Bob Proctor’s other mentors, which he frequently credited, were Leland Val Van de Wall, Earl Nightingale, and Lloyd Conant). When Dr. Roder’s name would come up in Bob Proctor’s programs and seminars, Bob often said: “Harry knew more about the mind than anyone I’d ever met.” In the Foreword to this booklet, Dr. C. Harry Roder wrote: “This little volume is not intended as an exhaustive study in Personality and Body Language. Its object is to stimulate, to those interested to further study on the Mind and its reflection through form - - - - - namely the Body. The Body and its expression is an outgrowth of the Mind - inherited and acquired. ‘As a man thinketh in his heart so is he’. Before you and I make our debut on this earth a great deal has been programmed ‘within’ as to our appearance and outlook on life. In the genes of the chromosomes the ‘tales’ are microscopically written. The Body Speaks, through the shape, the eyes, nose, face, gestures and posture. All tell a story. May this introduction to Kinesiology be interesting and stimulating.” Hmm, this may explain, in part anyway, Bob Proctor’s uncanny ability to walk around a room and tell people he never met before all about themselves. :-) This 52-page booklet, published in 1972 by Claxton Printing Ltd., is in a stapled paperback binding. Overall, it’s in acceptable condition. The cover is slightly faded with browning around the edges. Something is blacked out on the inside of the front cover (the previous owner’s name maybe?), there's a business card stapled to the first/title page (Stephen C. Morris of Creative Personal Development). There are some notes written in pen and some underlining of the text of the book, also done in pen, none of which detracts from or obstructs the text, and, it may even be helpful (the notes and underlining appear, and this is just my opinion, to have been added during a seminar on the subject of the book). This hard-to-find Bob Proctor related booklet doesn’t come up for sale on eBay very often, so buy it right now while you still can!
