Description: 1 BMW2 MASTER KEY BLANK FOR: ALL BMW: 3 Series: 1975-1984 5 Series: 1975-1984 6 Series: 1978-1984 7 Series: 1978-1984 Series Code: HB / HU / HY / NB / NU / NY / 1-1000 Important Fitment notes: This is the correct key if your current working ignition key has one of the following part numbers stamped on it: BMW2, X59, or BW7. If you have no part numbers stamped on your current key, compare it closely to the pictures above as its grooves need to match EXACTLY both back and front. Another clue that this is the right key is if your current working key or ignition bezel has a stamped key code on it starting with "HB", "HU", "HY", "NB", "NU", or "NY followed by a number between 1 and 1000. As a side note, this key also works on BMW Motorcycles 1995 and up. I stock a PLASTIC HEADED version of this key as well.
