Here we have a wonderful solid quality copper MIXING-BEATING BOWL with a brass grip ring made by BAZAAR DE LA CUISINE INC. of NY, NY. The exterior bottom center is marked, "BAZAAR DE LA CUISINE, INC. ~ NEW YORK, NY," It measures approx. 10-1/2" in top diameter (add 1-3/8" for the hanging/grip ring) x 5-1/2" side high (deep), can hold up to 5 liquid quarts...to the brim. It is in good to very good maintained (lightly used) condition with no dings or dents, no damage noted...appearing to have had less than normal use. It is being offered in "as found" condition, and it has not been polished since acquired showing a nice aged copper patina. This weighty copper bowl has a top rolled rim edge/lip, the ring connection is copper riveted, strong and sturdy. [NOTE: An ideal and perfect Bowl for making meringue because the copper reacts with the egg whites making them more stable.] Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1970-80's. This item weighs approx. 2 lbs., add 2-3/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material, I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
