Shaw has composed the song as a lead sheet, typical of his compositions. The manuscript is accompanied with a certificate of authentication that was issued at the April 7, 2005 Artie Shaw estate sale at his home in Newbury Park, California. When I was at the sale, it was very hectic. To speed up the check out process, the sales team provided a COA for every individual item sold but did not have the time to fill out the line explaining what was purchased. The line on this COA has not been completed. Original manuscripts written by Artie Shaw are very scarce as he donated virtually all of his original music to the University of Arizona prior to his death.
