(TCMA). While many TCMA sets are reprints of earlier works, this card is NOT a reprint edition but an original issued in a set TCMA produced in the years 1976-77. It is part of a scarce 8-card set of then-active American and National League Major League Baseball umpires. This is a Rookie or First Year Card. Card size is the modern standard (2-1/2" by 3-1/2").*Color variations have been noted for these TCMA Umpire cards: Cards for Barnett and Denkinger (possibly all 8 cards in the set) exist with red and black ink on card front. Condition: Crisp Excellent-Plus/Near-Mint or better - check the high-resolution scans. A blue background has been provided to assist in evaluating corners and edges.
