Antique Vintage Hickory Shaft Spalding Calamity Jane Putter

Description: This item is a 34 /34" right-handed hickory shafted putter. Smooth face scoring. Marked Spalding Custom Gorged Calamity Jane. A more recent replica of Bobby Jones' famous Calamity Jane putter. The head is excellent clean condition. Doesn't look like it was used much at all. Please look at the many zoom pictures to get a better idea of condition. The shaft is the original hickory with th original three rows of whipping on it. It is straight, I see no cracks and it has some play at the hosel. All hickory shafted clubs should be re-set prior to play. The grip is the original long leather wrap that is in very good condition. Great collectible. If you are considering playing with this club, while I see no issues with this hickory shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage. These hickory shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee hickory shafts against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old hickory shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old hickory shafted wood with a hard range ball.Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3-pound box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge.
