It is NOT a reproduction. During the 1890-1920's elaborate Valentine's Day cards were all the rage. They were made with lace, honeycomb paper, scraps of die cut images such as flowers, animals, children, angels, women and hearts. Often they are layered and have paper springs between the layers to give them a popped out 3-D look. This very elaborate Valentine's day card from the 1910-1930’s era. Die Cuts are embossed.
