Description: ANTIQUE RUSSIAN BLACK LACQUERED DEER HURDING TRINKET BOX. Shipped WELL WRAPPED with USPS Priority Mail. Found at an estate sale. Antique hand painted, black lacquered, elongated trinket box. Depicts a hurding scene of deer, and them being chased by a tiger, with the Shepard running after them. The scene is painted on all sides but the bottom. There is some wear to the top edge, shown in enlarged photo. 2 areas of varnish loss on the bottom. Both shown. No cracks. No paint loss with the exception of a tiny nick. Also shown. Inside is not chipped, but some wear to edges. It measures approximately 1 1/2" in height, approximately 8" in length, and approximately 2 1/2" in width. Returns are accepted only if I have not accurately described the item.
