Description: CONDITION: Some wear to gilding on the front edge. This porcelain table crummer was produced in France in the late 19th century. It is unmarked but it is typical of other Limoges crumbers currently available. It was a piece that was sold “white ware” for a studio artist to decorate. It is 8 1/2 inches long, 8 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches deep. The artist had a lovely technique painting French violets in art nouveau fashion. The porcelain blank has a molded, rococo style handle and border. There is gold trim on the edges. This would be a lovely piece to serve cookies, hors devours or decorate a wall. #C633 IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT PAY until you have purchased all the items you plan to bid on.
