Description: Antique Light Aqua Dr Cummings Vegetine Medicine Bottle Medicines & Cures 9 3/4” 3 1/2” x 1 3/4” x 9 3/4” 1 lb 4.1 oz This bottle is likely from the later 1800’s and is from Massachusetts. It’s got a lovely light aqua/blue color and is large. It’s embossed with “Dr. Cummings Vegetine” on the face. This cure was known as “the Indian remedy” which was considered a blood purifier that would prevent diseases. The bottle could use some more specialized cleaning on the inside. I don't see any large chips or cracks. The top rim isn't fully smooth but I think it's just worn or has near flea bites, I'm not sure. Please see pictures for condition detail.
