Description: This is an antique farm house German milk can which was custom handpainted in 1990. The original can was used with original dings and dents. The painting is beautiful with some wear. The inside is also painted in the same shade of blue. I really like the idea of using used antique milk cans instead of perfect reproductions. The bottom is signed custompainted for Diane Corcoran Germany 1990. The foil sticker says in German "Farmers Peasant Painting" along the top with the name M. Mages. Also has the initials MM. This can is large and heavy. It measures 18" tall, not including handle, top measures 7.5" across, and the bottom measures 11" across. Weighs just over 13 lbs. Has a nice heavy duty bale type handle.
