Description: For sale today is this antique dress found at an estate sale. It was in a large box of clothing that had newspapers in the bottom from the late 1800s. It is home made, some machine, some hand stitching. I believe the fabric is silk (olive in color). It is adorned with pink and dark glass beads. I saw a small hole in the armpit. I have not tried to launder this. It would be wonderful displayed, for study or wear. The belt appears to be home made also. The dress measures approx. 43" long, 19" from armpit to armpit and 17" across the waist. Buy as is. I have had the pleasure of finding cool and unique items from the estate sales we attend. I enjoy offering them to my customers. I have no idea what environment they were exposed to beforehand, some show wear, some have a mild packed away odor, etc. I will try to describe the items to the best of my ability.
