Antique Jean Pouyat (JP) French Limoges White Gilded Scalloped Oval Service Bowl

Description: For your consideration is an antique serving bowl. The oval white piece is decorated with blue floral and green foliage. The bowl has a scalloped with gilded scrolls on a slightly scalloped rim. It measures about 10 inches in length, 6 inches in width and stands 3 inches in height. The bowl bears a red circular J. Pouyat Limoges and a green J.P. over L. over France with a patent date over the J.P. According to Gaston, the red mark dates the bowl between 1900-1906 and the second mark between 1890-1932. Both marks date the bowl between 1900-1906 making it an antique. The 118 years old bowl is free of cracks, nicks, or repairs, but does have a chip on one of the inside scallops (pictured). It is priced accordingly. The net weight is 16 ounces.
