Description: This antique Haviland Limoges covered dish features a beautiful pink salmon line pattern on an oval-shaped medium-sized china dish, with a single compartment measuring 2.5 inches deep. The dish is an original piece from 1850-1899, manufactured in France, and has a patterned finish. The dish is perfect for collectors of vintage dinnerware and serveware, and would make a great addition to any collection. Although there is a chip on the dish, it is in overall good condition and the chip does not affect its functionality as a beautiful display piece. The is no mark on this bowl. I am basing my description on what I was told by a fine antique dealer who specializes in antique china. He told me that it was most likely Limoges from the 1850’s-1870s. .This piece has been in my husband’s family for generations. I am also selling the plates and another serving bowl if you have interest in this pattern
