Description: Heavy pottery lidded stein from Germany.The pewter lid is marked Rein Zinn Bleifrei on the inside.There are markings on the base as well but they are blurry (see photos).Appears to say GERZ. The stein is 6.25 inches tall, including the top of the lid handle.Width is 4.5 inches.Opening top diameter is 2.5 inches. The motif on the stein features cherubs (one playing a drum and one with a violin) anda scene in the village bar in the 1800's. This is a 3 panel scene. The pottery color is light grey and the raised scenes are in dark blue.
