Description: An antique HB Quimper double shoe salt cellar with a loop handle and a hand painted geometric overlapping leaf design in blue, green, and red. Marked "HB" on the bottom, indicating production from around 1880 to 1904. This piece is in very good antique condition with some tiny glaze chips and wear around the rims and glaze crawling at the bottom edges which is common in Quimper and originates from manufacture. This piece was obtained from the Quimper collection of a long time Boston, MA antique dealer. The dimensions are approximately 3 5/8" long x 2 1/2" wide x 1 3/4" tall. *Seller has researched the authenticity of this item as described and believes it to be accurate.
