It is gorgeous, done all 360 degrees around in fine inlay and beautiful gilt bronze, making any viewing angle magical. It is a crossover between a chest and a desk, but it works great as an end or lamp table. Top is rectangular with projecting corners, featuring a fine inlay, all framed in and held down with a pierced bronze / brass Gallery. There are three drawers in the front, the top one featuring a gilt tooled leather slide, which is used for writing, however it can be slid back so the drawer can be used. The body is dressed to the max with bronze mounts, main feature being four Ram Heads on the corners, appearing to be the support for the top (please see the photos). This baby stands on four raised cabriole legs Louis XV style, ending in sabots Drawers have their original locks and a key. Table is in good condition, light age / use wear, French polished recently (please see photos). Size is great to go anywhere at 31" high, 25.5" wide, and 20" deep. This is a "jewelry" type of furniture, works with traditional or mid-century modern, a true gem!
