Description: An amazing early wrought iron lock and decorated latch possibly from a conestoga wagon tool, trunk or lock box measuring approximately 9 3/4 x 5 7/8 inches; rectangular lock only is approximately 4 7/8 x 5 7/8 inches. Conestoga wagons were painted blue and the undercarriages an orange red. There appears to be some paint remnants as pictured in the second to last picture. There is no key and appears in working condition but locking mechanism parts are secure and do not move. Very nice piece. Domestic shipping includes insurance. Thanks for looking.
