Description: Up for bid is a nice vintage Dresden brass mounted porcelain dresser box with applied flowers, as found. The piece is 2 5/8 inches tall by 3 3/4 inches in diameter. It has a cylindrical body with a flat unglazed base, unglazed rim, and a hand painted floral spray in the interior. The domed lid is covered with applied tiny blue flowers, plus a few larger rosebuds. Both pieces have an applied brass edge with an anthemion pattern. It has a black “21” inside the lid and “79”, a partial signature in blue, and another black mark. Condition on the piece is fairly good. Several of the flowers have chipped edges, though there is only one small patch with clear breaks. A nice little piece!
