Description: This is a magnificent Fully restored F Kroeber Antique Rare China No.16 Porcelain clock that has been fully restored and is most splendid ! The original rare Kroeber movement has been completely disassembled, all parts cleaned ultrasonically, all pivots polished and several bushings properly installed. The unique design of this movement has a restricted pendulum originally designed by Kroeber and produced for them by Seth Thomas, it reduces any trauma to the escapement while moving the clock, an ingenious design that really works. The mainsprings were properly cleaned and greased and are very lively. The clock keeps very good time. The porcelain case is in very good overall condition with little crazing and discoloration. please see photos. The Dial and bezel are a most beautiful reproduction done by a dial professional and present this clock beautifully. ! The clock strikes pleasantly once on the half hour and the correct number of times on the hour on its coiled cathedral gong. This is an 8 day clock and needs to be wound weekly on both sides with included key. This would be packed with great care and shipped via UPS.
