Description: Nice old beam drill in great vintage condition, very solid. Very well-built Does have normal wear and staining and could use a little more cleaning up but very nice looking old drill. One of wing nuts to adjust the angle or to fold it was replaced with a square nut, and the main gear was repaired long ago. it appears the gear cracked in half, and they put a plate on the bottom and top and riveted it back together. If this would be used again that might not be ideal, but I think it must’ve worked for them. As it’s kind of a display item now I really actually think that is a pretty neat feature to see the quality of repair that they did. Nice large size. The base measures 29 inches long by 7 1/4 wide and stands 25 inches tall, 26 with the clip to hold the drill up.
