Description: Offered is this beautiful antique Majolica Etruscan Albino Shell & Seaweed Cup and Saucer. Griffin, Smith and Hill made this Etruscan cup and saucer in the Shell and Seaweed pattern in the 1800's. The shell and seaweed pattern is beautifully carried out around the circumference of the cup and also in a complimentary fashion around the saucer. The colors are blues, pinks and gold on creamy white. The saucer is well marked on the bottom with the old or Early Griffin, Smith & Hill makers mark. Both the cup and saucer are in excellent antique condition with overall glaze crazing due to age. The cup measures just over 4.25 inches wide with handle and stands 2 inches tall. The saucer measures just over 6 inches wide.
