Description: Hardcover "Ancient Legends of Roman History" by Ettore Pais, originally published in 1905 by Dodd Mead. This edition is a 1971 reprint and was once in the Houston Public Library in Texas. Notice the “Discard” stamps on the top and on the inside of the back cover. Some pencil marks and a pen mark photographed and yellowing from age. Has that classic “old book” smell, but it’s very faint- not overwhelming or anything I would personally describe as a foul odor.
