This deck was purchased at the time of its release in the year 2000 by a collector who studies decks for their artwork and history rather than using them for readings. This deck depicts a great depth of understanding of the esoteric meanings of the tarot and traces its history back over centuries, showing images primarily from 1450 to 1460 C.E. Images from this deck have been reproduced in cheap knock-off versions but these cannot possibly capture the incredible artwork and excellent color imprinting crafted by Lo Scarabeo in the production of this Year 2000 deck. The cards are perfectly straight and true, with no wrinkles, creases, fold or bends. The collector did not retain the boxes but only the boxtop, as shown in the photo herewith.
