This operation is totally automatic after installation. This is a non-computerized 700-R4 and 200-4R lockup switch kit that allows for installation of either transmission without the factory transmission controller. This is perfect for using a modern overdrive transmission with a non-computer controlled engine. Note: This kit requires a 3/8 NPT threaded 4th gear pressure port. Not all 700-R4 and 200-4R transmissions had this port from the factory, so please verify before ordering.
