Alba was one of his first lines, and is the one with the largest color collection. I have grown the selection of this yarn to 24 colors and recently finally had an opportunity to work with this yarn. It is a delight to work with, and I hope to have a sample photo to share soon. This yarn is a little on the rustic side as is usual with tweeds, and I have encountered a small amount of vegetable matter. This yarn has a composition of 50% Merino Wool, 25% Alpaca, and 25% Viscose. It is a DK weight yarn which is perfect for most sweater patterns, especially for Fair Isle color work knitting.. I shied away from tweed yarns for a long time, but have finally embraced their beauty. The flecks of tweed add more texture to the appearance of the fabric. Each 100 gram skein has 382 yards of yarn.
