Description: About them: Barbie & Ken have been transformed into two mystical lovers of the ocean waves - the princess and her warrior prince. Each has a glittering metallic tail in hues of black, brown and silver with a texture-on-texture animal print. They have transparent black side fins with glittering silver throughout edged in silver. Their tailfins match their side fins and have glittering silver "veins." // Ken has darker, golden-blonde hair that has been given more layers and set loose. He has darker sculped brows over his deeper blue-gray eyes. Around his neck is an antiqued silver chain with an oblong pendant. He has matching upper armbands and wrist guards of metallic gray and black. In his hand he holds a (removable) staff-like weapon, also in antique silver with a two-pronged head, having brass-toned accents holding an off-white larger pearl. He is permanently attached to his solid wood base which has a sandy coating, and is covered with antique-look netting, real seashells and a few faux pearls in various sizes. There is also felt on the bottom to protect the surface it is placed on. // Barbie has longer, platinum-blonde hair that has been given choppy layers, with the very front pulled up and back, encircled in a band of tiny pearls. Her mermaid "top" is more of the fabric of her tail, edged in silver glitter, with a few accent lines of the glitter on her body. Her make-over includes my realistic eyelashes over deeper blue eyes lined in soft black. Around her neck is double choker of more tiny pearls and an antiqued silver chain with a twisted heart pendant. Around her left wrist is a single strand of more tiny pearls.// Movement: Ken's head and arms move, and he can still bend forward at the waist. His one arm is in a permanent bent position.
