Description: Dear Silver Collectors! For your consideration is a truly iconic Acanthus set by GEORG JENSEN, STERLING SILVER (design - Johan Rohde, 1917), rare early marks, DENMARK! There are original 91pc set, dinner & luncheon size (see below) with 11 (ELEVEN) incredible servers! Hand-hammered antique silver, perfectly clear Jensen and Denmark sterling marks, never monogrammed treasure...Please don't be confused by my low asking price:-) This set needs new happy owner and new home! It's not some mix, but an original early set from Jensen store in Copenhagen, bought between WWI and WWII (the owners' family left Europe a few years before the Second War started). The items have perfectly identical early Jensen marks (1915-1927/30). Many items are ALL-STERLING - the spreaders and unique servers! Moreover, it's complete DINNER & LUNCHEON sets in their first, short European version (PLEASE check out dimensions below)! The knives have early, 'short', handles and standard for the later American versions blades. Acanthus is one of the very unusual patterns which were designed with short and long versions of the dinner items.
