Description: FREE SHIPPING! This auction is for 2 beautiful glass buttons made by artisans in the region of Bohemia, Czech Republic. They are pressed from vintage molds and then ground, painted, and painstakingly detailed by hand. The paint is permanent high-temperature fired enamel. These buttons are pressed from a vintage 1940's mold and have a very vintage retro look! Each measures approx. 42mm (1 5/8") long by 32mm (1 1/2") wide and has a metal 4-way box shank. The glass is cornflower blue with a silver metallic enamel paint on the front. Please note that the silver is a little faded. This actually adds to the soft romantic vintage look. They make wonderful embellishments to clothes, knits, hats, crafts, and can even be used in jewelry making!! We specialize in limited edition Czech buttons.
