It does a great Job at keeping the smoke/grinding dust out of your helmet. + you get a nice constant breeze hitting your face at all times, which is lovely. You can grind and weld with this helmet which is a + so you no longer have to swap between your face shield and your welding helmet anymore. This helmet is brand-new (openbox) Never used.
