Chain Gauge: Chain gauge is the thickness of each drive link. Find your gauge by measuring the section of the drive link inside the groove of the guide bar. Chain Pitch: Pitch is the distance between drive links. Measure pitch by counting three links in a row and dividing by two. Drive Links: Count each drive link to know the total number of drive links on your saw chain. The raw materials of cutters, drive links, tie straps are called 68CrNiMo, rivet is called GCr15, which is the same raw material used by Stilh.
