Description: (PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTOR BEFORE BIDDING) This auction is for a new, 2013, Tiki Farm produced, Philippe Tilikete designed, ceramic tiki mug entitled “Ike Ariki, The Fish God”. “This is a mug shaped like a Moai with a cartoonish appearance... big jaw, big ears, small body, etc. Traditional elements were also added from the Rapa Nui culture, like the fish cradling in his arms and the Birdman on the reverse of his head. Young Aiden Gertsen, was given the task of naming this fellow and his research led him to naming it “Ika Ariki”, which can be translated as “The Fish God”. This version is in light jade green”. IMPORTANT: The high gloss glaze has craving throughout the piece. The item has never been used for its purpose. (See photos for details) I am the original owner.
