Description: Proposals, 1967-1974. By Dennis Oppenheim. Lebeer-Hossman, Bruxelles, Hamburg. 1975, Signed and limited first edition, 423 of 500. 16.5 x 11.5" In poor condition. Book became wet at some point, ripples present throughout entirety. While it does not impede legibility of text and sketches, it has warped the bookblock as a whole. Numbered and Signed limited edition page towards rear of text. Dennis Oppenheim (1938 - 2011) was an American conceptual artist, sculptor, performance artist, earth artist and photographer. He was well-known for creating works with a widely varied group of themes that could bewilder even his most staunch of followers, and challenge artistic convention of the time. This rare piece is number 423 of 500 copies made that show some of Oppenheim's proposed exhibitions and creations from the years 1967-1974. FORN-MSB-1223-0754-WS8
