Description: This listing is for ONE (1) modern Ballast Resistor and Heatsink to replace the original 47225A Lucas one on any 1970 -1977 Norton Commando. This will replace parts 551141 and 06-2098 also. This is a UK designed upgrade part complete with aluminum, nonmagnetic mount and anodized aluminum heat sink. It is the state of art replacement for that old ugly 1960's style resistor mounted on the white porcelain heat sink underneath the fuel tank. It will mount and wire in without any modifications. Guaranteed to look and perform better than stock. It is for use on point ignition systems, using twin 6-volt coils. We also have OEM Heavy Duty ballast resistors available in our eBay store.
