Description: Here is a vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: Janis Joplin with Big Brother & the Holding Company, their debut 1st album "Big Brother And The Holing Company", this is an original 1st pressing released 8/23/1967 by Mainstream Records S/6099 Stereo, has the heavy vinyl with blue labels. This album features awesome performances by Janis with great backing band led by Sam Andrews. Has songs "Bye Bye Baby", "Easy Rider" "Call On Me", "Down On Me" and more, GREAT album! The vinyl grades VG+, is clean and glossy, has several light marks, nothing heavy, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays very good from start to finish, with only some very light background pops, no skips or jumps and an enjoyable listen! The cover rates VG+, front artwork has deep color with no ring wear, just a couple light spot stains, binder EX & readable, bottom seam had small split at center neatly re-glued, no tape, looks minimally handled. (see all photos) Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in a "throw away" paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent splits.
