Description: This offering is for a photo of Bill Jenkins driving his very 1st "Grumpy's TOY" at Cecil County Drag-O-Way in 1966. When Bill could not reach a sponsorship agreement with Chrysler in 1966,he purchased a 1966 L-79 Chevy Nova from Dave Strickler's Father in Law's Chevrolet Dealership (Ammon R. Smith) and race without a sponsor. The car had a 327"/350 H.P. Motor that produced about 420 H.P. when Bill put his touch to it. It ran in the A/Stock Class with the Big Hemi cars . This was the 1st of many "Grumpy's TOY" cars for Bill . This photo is made from the Original and is on Premium Photo Paper. U.S.Property Copyright Law applies. The WATERMARK will not appear in the photo. Great look back into Drag Racing History.
