1960s Marx Ultra Contemporary (Imagination) Dollhouse w/Original Box, Furniture

Description: This vintage original Marx "New Ultra Contemporary" (aka "Imagination") dollhouse was originally released in the 1960s. Despite a few wear-and-tear flaws, this set is in amazingly great shape for its age, and nearly complete! You'll receive everything you see in the photos, which is an assortment of midcentury modern chairs and furniture for each room, and a family of 7. The furniture is all meant to be snapped together to mix-and-match in different configurations, so the chairs and tables have a variety of options for bases, and the other pieces can be combined and fit together in different ways. Even the lamps can be put together as table or floor lamps...so much fun to organize and re-organize this crazy little house!The set is packed in its original Marx box from the period. Instruction sheet is not included. The blue plastic "shelf" or surface has some cracks, but is not missing any pieces of plastic. Furniture is in various condition, mostly good. The outdoor furniture only has enough legs for 1 bench. The set includes a decorative shelf, chair, and base that appear to have been painted, and then it appears that an attempt was made to remove the paint, so there is some staining on those pieces (pictured). This could probably be cleaned up with the right tools.**This is a vintage item, and my description of damage, parts, and working order is not meant to be exhaustive.
