It dates to the late 1950s and works great on all speeds. It was made by Rheem Califone and is a "Director" model number 12V-9. It is a powerful, 80-Watt machine with a 12-inch extended range concert loudspeaker. It has a switch that turns on the tube amp and another one for the turntable motor. It has an output jack, which allows you to hook it up to any number of devices, be it recording or amplifying. I have used this feature to attach it to one of our 1930s Zenith console radios with great results! The phonograph also has an input for a microphone and a designated microphone volume control, another for the phonograph as well as bass and treble controls. The tubes inside are as follows 12AX7, 7199 preamp, a pair of 6AQ5A power tubes and one 6X5GT rectifier. Due to the nature of vintage electronics, it is sold as is and as described with no guarantee.
