Description: 1955 U.S. Frigate Constellation Copper Coin /Token from Original Ship; BRILLIANT Condition. This commemorative coin was produced in order to assist in the restoration of the frigate, and was asked to give at least $1 per coin. The obverse of the coin is of the sailing ship surrounded by 1797 and Frigate Constellation. The reverse has the Eagle and Shield with two cannons and description of how it was struck. The coin is a hefty 14.2 grams with a diameter of 32.1mm, larger than a 50 cent piece. Thanks for looking!
