Description: The ungraded card from the "carbking" collection has no creasing and only light wear. The card measures roughly 3.75" x 2.75". Please review the attached pictures to assist with the condition and content of the card. The 1954 Stark & Wetzel cards were a promotional campaign where an Indianapolis 500 Winners card would be inserted in the packaging of one of their meat products. There are a total of 37 cards in this set, and they are very rare. As of this posting, a total of 49 cards have been submitted to PSA for grading, and only a single Ray Keech card. Keech was born in Coatsville, Pennsylvania, in 1900. In 1928, he set the land speed record at Daytona Beach driving the White Triplex "Spirit of Elkdom". The record was broken a little under a year later by Henry Segrave. He started two Indianapolis 500's, finishing 4th in 1928 and winning the 1929 race. Just 16 days after winning the 500, he was killed in a racing accident at Altoona Speedway in Tipton, Pennsylvania. Please review the other racing items I have listed at the eBay store, The Checkered Past. I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost. Thanks!
