Description: Vintage Dress 1940's Vintage Fit and Flare Dress No tags, but I believe it to be a Rayon or Rayon blend The Sheen and the Detail on the Dress make more than a Simple Day Dress The Fabric is Shiny and Tiny Diamond and Rectangles Woven into the fabric Buttons to the Waist with Blue Sculpted Flower Buttons Bias Center Bodice with Distinct Top stitching Slight Gathering a the side waist in the front and also in the back Side seam closed metal zipper Flared Skirt with 4 panels in the front and 3 in the back There are belt loops, but original belt is missing. One pictured is Not included No size tag, so Please go by measurements taken laid flat seam to seam 16 1/2" shoulder to shoulder 20" armpit to armpit 15 1/2" waist 16" shoulder to waist 28 1/2" waist to hem Near perfect condition but for that scuff hole on the skirt. Looks like New, so probably damaged from storage all those years. The baby blue threads are missing from the fabric weave. If you could find just the right color thread as the baby blue, I think a couple of stitches and you wouldn't even notice, Vintage items are Unique and Often one of a Kind. No fear of seeing a carbon copy of what you're wearing on someone else. With That in Mind, bid accordingly.
