Description: This is a very nice example of a 1940-S wheat cent with a very long die crack that runs from the L in EPU, to the O of ONE, to the C of CENT, to the E of CENT, and finally to the D in AMERICA. That's a little more than half the length of the coin! This coin has also been heavily struck through grease. On the reverse you can see the lack of detail in USA and the right wheat. On the obverse, Lincolns face and hair, face, and TRUST have been obscured from the strike through. An awesome addition to any collection! The coin in the photos is the one you will receive, and will come in a protective coin flip. Shipping will be free and mailed in a protective standard envelope with tracking. Thanks for looking! Please take a moment to check out my other auctions and feel free to ask questions. Happy coin hunting!
