Vintage coin, strongly tarnished by long-term storage in an old acid paper environment (folder, envelope, etc.). A lot of times when you see a coin with a color like this, the first impression is that it was cleaned very well with soap/water and that's why it tarnished so strongly. This coin still has a good amount of grime on it and appears to have a thin film of purse slime on the wear surfaces. Just to be safe, assume it was gently cleaned at some point in time before it was stored away. Coin has a decent reeded edge for the grade with little to no damages worth noting. There are a few old scratches/cuts reverse in the E and W areas (wing, pine, motto). Not a low-level VF, in the upper range; upper obverse and date very strong. Weighs 12.3 grams. Cool old coin.
