Description: "VERMONT MAID SYRUP" ADVERTISING PUZZLE PREMIUM - 1930s Penick & Ford, Ltd., Inc. 7.75" x 9.75" graphic envelope with detailed maple syrup bottle illustration. Envelope states: "Makers of Brer Rabbit Molasses and Brer Rabbit Cane Syrups." Includes complete color illustrated jigsaw (7-3/8" x 9.25", cardboard) titled "Home". Puzzle is marked (c) Knapp Co. NY. Envelope states 2 puzzles, but only one is included. Condition of PUZZLE is considered GOOD with minimal surface/edge wear. No tears or creases. Condition of ENVELOPE is considered only FAIR with miscellaneous surface/stain/edge wear. Extensive edge tears (largest being 3") with assorted edge chipping. Envelope has been torn open at top. Paper is brittle. Graphics are still bold and appealing. Despite envelope defects, we feel this is still a very displayable example by most standards (see photos).
